ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team fell to Cairn University 3-0 on Tuesday evening. Set scores were 25-10, 25-16 and 25-15.
 
Josiah Melendez tallied five kills for the Knights. Jules Maiorano handed out 12 assists. Maiorano and Brandon Baskerville each notched eight digs.
 
Tied at four in the first set, the Highlanders 12 of the next 13 points to jump out to a 16-5 lead. In set two, the Knights stayed within striking distance, but Cairn was able to build its lead and take the 25-16 second set win. Set three was much like set two, and the Highlanders took home the 3-0 match win.
 
Neumann (4-6) heads to Valley Forge on Thursday evening. The match is slated to begin at 7:00 PM.
