ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Cedar Crest College 5-4 on Saturday afternoon for its first win of the young season.
Hannah Asaka and
Kylie Seeger opened doubles play with an 8-5 win.
Kannitha Phousouvanh-Suthong and
Nicole Turner won second doubles 8-4 for a 2-1 lead after doubles action.
Seeger followed her doubles win with a win at third singles, 6-0, 6-4.
Sarah Oziminski took fifth singles 6-0, 6-1. Turner wrapped up the win with a 6-0, 6-0 win at sixth singles.
Neumann (1-1) will host Gwynedd Mercy on Tuesday in a non-conference match beginning at 4:00 PM.
