ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell to Cairn University 9-0 on a chilly and windy Friday afternoon.
Kylie Seeger battled at second singles, but dropped the match 6-4, 6-1.
Kaitlyn Smith put up a fight at third singles. After losing the first set 6-4, the freshman rebounded with a 6-4 set two win before ultimately falling 10-3 in the tiebreaker.
Neumann (1-2) will open conference play on Wednesday when it hosts Marymount. Action is slated to get underway at 3:00 PM.
