ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to Delaware Valley University on Saturday afternoon.
 
Meg Frame kept the Knights in the game, as she was busy in net making 14 saves. Neumann tallied five shots, with Mia Black tallying the lone shot on goal for the Knights. Haley Craft notched a defensive save for the Knights.
 
After the teams played to a 0-0 first half, the Aggies scored two goals in a five-minute span in the third quarter. Neumann had a great opportunity at the end of the third quarter on a penalty corner just as time was expiring. The Knights were able to get two shots off, one blocked and the other went wide, as the quarter came to an end.
 
The Knights fought until the end and had another penalty corner in the fourth quarter that resulted in two shots, again one blocked and one that went wide.
 
Neumann (2-2) will be back on their home turf on Tuesday as it will face off against Noter Dame (Md.). The game is slated for 5:30PM.
