ROCHESTER N.Y. - The Neumann University Men's Ice Hockey team were dealt a 1-0 loss on Saturday afternoon by their United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) rivals, the Nazareth College Golden Flyers.

It was a highly defensive affair but both teams certainly had their chances throughout the first two periods. Shots of goal after 40 minutes was 22-17 in favor of Nazareth. The lone Golden Flyers goal of the game came on a power play goal with 3:36 left in regulation. In spite of pulling the goaltender for the last 1:30, the Knights could not find the back of the net.

Cole DeFazio had another big game in goal, making 30 saves.
Cameron Hatziioannou led the offense with five shots on goal.
Devin Joyce,
Tyler Kulas, and
Chase Cochran followed with three attempts on the cage each.
PJ Demitrio had a strong game in the face off dot, winning four of the five draws he took.

Neumann (6-17, 4-14 UCHC) will be back in action on Friday night as they host Wilkes University. Face-off from IceWorks is scheduled for 7pm.
