PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Neumann University Women's Ice Hockey team were handed a 4-1 loss by the Chatham University Cougars in a United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) game on Saturday night.

Neumann was first to get on the board when
Meg Landman shoveled home her second goal of the season at the 8:07 mark of the opening period.
Rachel Frederick had the lone assist giving the Knights a 1-0 lead.

Unfortunately for Neumann, the lead wouldn't last long. Just 18 seconds after the goal, Chatham would equalize. With 2:49 left in the period, the Cougars took the lead for good. Chatham added an insurance goal on the power play with six minutes left in the second. The Cougars scored again midway through the third to secure the three goal win.

Michelle Winand-Bacon made 38 saves in goal as the Neumann split the weekend series in western PA.
Taylor Ettore led the offense with five shots on goal while
Sidney Squires had four.
Mikaylee Henhawk contributed six blocked shots.

Neumann (6-16, 5-13 UCHC) returns to action on Friday with a conference clash at Manhattanville. The game in Rye, N.Y. is scheduled for a 7pm start.
