CENTERVILLE, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team picked up a 9-6 win at DeSales University on Saturday afternoon.
 
Lindsey Fagan led the Knights with six goals on 12 shots and five draw controls. The junior went 2-for-2 on free position shots. Brylin Adams tallied three goals and two assists. Maggie Blemings and Cionni Warrington each added an assist.
 
The teams went back and forth in the first quarter, trading goals and were tied 2-2 after the first 15 minutes. The Knights netted three goals in the second quarter and took a 5-3 lead into halftime.
 
Fagan scored the only three goals in the third quarter and Neumann held an 8-3 advantage heading into the final quarter. The Bulldogs struck quickly in the fourth quarter, scoring two goals in the first two minutes for an 8-5 game. Adams scored the ninth goal for the Knights. DeSales rounded out the scoring with a minute left in regulation and Neumann came away with the 9-6 win.
 
Catriona Corrigan made 15 saves in net for the win for the Knights.
 
Neumann (3-1) heads to Wilkes on Wednesday beginning at 5:00 PM.
