Game one started with both teams trading single runs in the first inning. Rosemont scored on an RBI double, but Neumann led off their half of the inning with a
Shawn Vega walk. He then stole second and took third on a throwing error.
Brandon Colon drove him in on a ground out to tie the game.

After a scoreless second, the Raven retook the lead on another RBI double in the top of the third. Vega led off the bottom of the frame with a double down the left field line.
Brandon Colon drove him in for the second time, this time on an RBI single. Colon then advanced to second on a passed ball and, two batters later,
Thomas Elgrim singled to left allowing Colon to score, giving the Knights a 3-2 lead.

Rosemont equalized in the fourth using a sacrifice fly and then broke the game open with three runs in the fifth. An RBI triple, and RBI double, and an RBI single pushed the Ravens to a three-run lead.
Brandon Colon started the bottom of the fifth with a single. He then stole second and moved to third after the throw went into the outfield.
Andrew Curran drove in Colon on a sacrifice fly, pulling the Knights within two. Rosemont added some insurance in the seventh with a two-run single.

Brandon Colon finished the game hitting 2 for 4 with two RBI, a stolen base, and two runs scored. Vega was 1 for 3 with a double, a walk, a steal, and two runs scored, and
Jack Valentine was 2 for 3.
Jonathan Baker saw his record drop to 0-3 in a five-inning, four strikeout effort.

Rosemont College got on the board in game two in the first inning using an RBI single and a wild pitch for an early 2-0 lead. In the third,
Nick Glebocki led off with a single up the middle. Vega followed with a walk and with two away, Elgrim doubled to the centerfield field fence, driving both runners in to tie the game at two.

With one out in the fifth,
Brandon Colon singled and stole second.Â
Ryan Lopez then walked and Elgrim hit an infield single to load the bases. Curran walked in a run and
Alec Silverman drove in two on a fielder's choice and an error for the three-run Knights advantage.

Zach Mullins had a strong start to improve his record to 2-0. In six innings of work, he gave up two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five. Valentine earned his first save of the season hurling a perfect seventh inning. Offensively, Elgrim led with a 2 for 3 performance with a double, a runs batted in, and a run scored.

Neumann (3-6) will be back in action on Tuesday afternoon as they host their Delaware County rivals, the Widener University Pride, in non-conference action. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30pm at Bruder Field.
