ASTON, Pa. – Neumann University Women's Basketball sophomore, Lauren Klieber, has been named to the City of Basketball Love Division III All-Area First Team.
 
Klieber started in all 26 games played by the Knights this season. She led the conference in scoring, averaging 22.1 points per game. That was 4.2 points ahead of the player who came in second in that category. Lauren was .2 rebounds per game shy of averaging a double-double on the season, finishing with 9.8 boards per game, good enough for second in the Atlantic East.
 
The Malvern, Pa. native led conference in points with 575, and rebounds with 255. Her .436 field goal percentage was third, her free throw percentage of .784 was fifth, and she made 2.3 three-pointers per game, which was second. Lauren also played the most minutes in the Atlantic East, averaging 35.9 per game, and totaling 933.
 
In a breakout season, Lauren was honored with Atlantic East Conference weekly awards nine times. Lauren was named the Player of the Week five times and to the Weekly Honor Roll four times. Klieber was named to the 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Basketball team and was also selected to the Atlantic East Conference First team.
 
The Knights finished off the 2022-23 campaign with a 13-14 overall record and were 6-6 in conference play. They also participated in the ECAC Tournament.
