ASTON, Pa. – The Atlantic East Conference announced the 2023 Men's Outdoor Track and Field on Monday afternoon, and the Neumann Knights were well represented.
 
Drew Konieczny earned first-team team honors in the 800-meter run after winning the conference title on Saturday. He finished almost three seconds ahead of his nearest competitor with a time of 1:56.72. He was selected to the Atlantic East Conference twice this spring and this is his second consecutive first-team selection in the 800.
 
Kevin Deal was also a first team selection in the shot-put with his victory this past weekend. His throw of 12.46 meter eclipsed the field by just two-tenths of a meter. He was selected the Atlantic East Conference Athlete of the Week on April 5^th.
 
The team of Konieczny, Devin Joyce, Matt Ricciardi, and Jaron McNeil were named to the second team for the 4x400 Meter Relay. Their time of 3:39.09 was only 1.1 seconds behind the winner at the conference championship meet.
 
Neumann will next compete at the ECAC Championships on Friday. The meet is being held at Goucher College in Baltimore.
