READING, Pa. – The Neumann University women's volleyball team fell at Alvernia University 3-0 on Thursday evening. Set scores were 25-18, 25-22 and 25-12.
Lauren Garvey led the Knights with eight kills.
Dani Smith handed out 17 assists.
Claudia Bournazel tallied 15 kills and Smith added 12.
The Knights held the team for a good part of set two, but the Golden Wolves would not go away. Alvernia tied the set at 22 and tallied the final four points of the set for the 25-22 win.
Neumann (9-7) will head to St. Mary's on Saturday for a tri-match with Regent. Action gets underway at 11:00 AM.
