ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team played to a 2-2 draw with Lebanon Valley College on Friday afternoon in United College Hockey Conference (UCHC) action. Lebanon Valley picked up the extra point in the conference standings with a 2-1 shootout win.
 
The teams played to a scoreless first period. Just seven seconds into the second, Jamiyah Alexander snapped a wrist shot from the circle for a 1-0 Knights lead. Midway through the second, the Lady Dutchmen tied the game at one.
 
Lebanon Valley made the score 2-1 2:36 into the third period. Just 19 seconds later, Gia Santorello stole the puck just inside the blueline in wristed a shot past the goalie for a 2-2 game.
 
The teams played a scoreless overtime. The Knights had some changes, including a 5-on-3 in the overtime. Santorello scored the only goal for Neumann in the shootout.

Noelle Woodard made 39 saves in net, including two in overtime.
 
Neumann (4-8-2, 0-7-2) and Lebanon Valley will meet again tomorrow afternoon, this time in Hershey, Pa. The game is slated to begin at 4:00 PM.
