ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Hockey team took on the seventh-ranked Utica University Pioneers in a United Collegiate Hockey Conference(UCHC) on Saturday evening, falling by a final score of 5-0.
Utica took a 1-0 lead with 12:01 left in the first period on a power play goal. They added goals with 2:43 on the clock, and with 39 seconds left to take a three goal lead into the second period. The Pioneers added single goals in the second and third to secure the three points.

JD Speer each had two shots on goal for the Knights.
Tyler Kennedy helped defensively with three blocked shots.
Logan Gorbitz made 48 save in between the pipes.
Neumann(5-8, 5-6 UCHC) returns to action on Friday, January 19, when they travel to Connecticut for a non-conference tilt against Albertus Magnus College. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 PM start.
