HACKETTSTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team lead from the start in a 69-52 win over Centenary University on Friday afternoon in Atlantic East Conference action.
Kyle Thompson led four Knights in double-digits with 21 points.
Amari Little netted 14 points and
TJ Lewis added 12 points and nine boards.
Jarell Keel tallied a double-double with 10 points and 23 rebounds. He also added three blocks.
Thompson opened the game with the first of his five three-pointers and Neumann never looked back. Leading 6-5 five minutes in, the Knights went on a 12-0 run over the next four minutes for an 18-5 advantage. Two free throws by Little put Neumann up 37-17 at halftime.
The Knights held a double-digit lead throughout the second half en route to their second straight conference win.
Neumann (4-11, 2-0 Atlantic East) returns home on Wednesday to host Cabrini. The conference game is slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.
