PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Neumann University Field Hockey dropped a 1-0 decision against Manhattanville University in an Atlantic East Conference game on Saturday afternoon.
 
The lone goal of the game was scored at the 5:25 mark of the first quarter. Despite outshooting the Valiants, 12-6, and leading them in shots on goal, 7-2, Neumann just could not find the equalizer.
 
Molly McGee led the Knights attack with two shots, both on goal. Cadence Conti and Elle Smith each had two shots with one on goal each. Emma Schneider made one save in today's effort.
 
Neumann (4-11, 0-3 Atlantic East) will close out the regular season with a home match on Wednesday against Immaculata University. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 PM start.
