COLMAR, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Hockey fell in a MAC conference game against Arcadia University on Friday night by a final score of 5-0.
Arcadia got their offense going just 24 seconds into the first period for a 1-0 lead. They added goals with 10:10 left and with 6:40 remaining for a three- goal advantage after the first period. Neumann shut things down for most of the second period at the 9:04 mark, they gave up a power play goal for the lone goal of the middle period. Arcadia added one more late in the third.
Kaylynn Savoy led the Knights with three shots on goal.
Gia Santorello added two shots.
Noelle Woodard made 41 saves in an effort to keep Neumann in the game.
Neumann (1-4, 0-3 MAC) and Arcadia will battle again on Saturday afternoon, this time at the IceWorks Skating Complex. Puck Drop is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
