ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Penn State Abington 7-2 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Knights opened by taking two-of-three in doubles action.
Dari Troilo and
Kayleigh DellaVecchio picked up an 8-2 win at second doubles.
Alura Troilo and
Kannitha Phosouvanh-Sythong won 8-3 at third doubles.
The Knights kept the winning going, winning five-of-six singles flights. D. Troilo won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles. A. Troilo took third singles 6-0, 6-2.
Rachel Frederick picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at fourth singles.
Kylie Seeger won 6-2, 6-2 at fourth singles and
Sha'xaria Gordon rounded out action with a 6-1, 6-2 win at sixth singles.
Neumann (4-1) will host Stockton on Wednesday in non-conference action beginning at 3:00 PM.
