ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team fell to Cabrini University 22-3 on Wednesday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference matchup.
Lindsey Fagan picked up four draw controls to pass the 200-draw control mark in the game.
Maggie Miller netted two goals for the Knights.
Adriana O'Heron opened the scoring for Neumann.
Maggie Blemings added an assist.
Catriona Corrigan made four saves in net over the first quarter.
Kortney Kaelin had nine saves in three quarters.
The Cavaliers jumped fast, scoring 13 goals in the first quarter. Each team netted a goal in the second quarter. The Knights added a goal in each of the third and fourth quarters.
Neumann (5-7, 0-2 Atlantic East) will head to Centenary on Monday in a rescheduled game. Action is slated to get underway at 4:00 PM.
