Track & Field Competes at Paul Donahue Invite

CHESTER, Pa. – Personal bests continue to improve as the Neumann University Track & Field team competed at the Paul Donahue Invite, hosted by Widener University.
 
All three runners in the women's 100-meter race took home personal best times as Aniyah Holmes finished in 13.42 seconds, Kozette Quinn in 13.75, and Neshaya Overton in 14.84. Quinn also lowered her mark in the 200-meter with a time of 27.59 while Holmes finished in 27.72 seconds. In the 400-meter, Katie Baier finished in 1:11.42, a top mark for her, as Djeneba Konake had a time of 1:20.38.
 
Courtney Humphreys was the top Knights finisher in the 800 with a time of 2:22.31 while Baier pulled off another personal best with a finish of 2:49.05. Humphreys also competed in the 1500-meter with a time of 4:57.17. In the Field, Allison Siravo tossed the shot put 9.45 meters with Sydney Wilson grabbing an 8.16.
 
On the men's side, Wyatt Boyer led all Neumann runners in the 200-meter race with a time of 23.26 seconds. Nahshon Harrison-Fobbs was on his heels at 23.92 and Hakeem Hall had a time of 24.72. Boyer had his best time in the 400, finishing in 50.91 seconds. Harrison-Fobbs had a 53.58. Tim Connell competed in both the 800 and the 1500, grabbing times of 2:20.63 and 4:45.91, respectively.
 
In the field events, Hall worked the long jump with a leap of 5.86 meters. Christian Johnson had a personal best in the shot out with a distance of 8.26 meters.
 
Neumann will next compete in the Penn Relays this coming week at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
