ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team was edged by Marymount University 5-4 on Saturday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference matchup.
In doubles play, the duo of
Kylie Seeger and
Kannitha Phosouvanh-Sythong picked up an 8-4 win in the third flight. The Saints held a 2-1 lead heading into singles.
Alura Troilo won her match at third singles 6-2, 6-1.
Rachel Frederick picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win at fourth singles.
Sha'xaria Gordon won 6-3, 6-2 at sixth singles. Seeger battled in the fifth flight, but fell 7-5, 7-5.
Neumann (5-5, 0-2 Atlantic East) will head to Immaculata on Tuesday for the last regular season match before the postseason begins next weekend.
