EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Neumann University Outdoor Track & Field teams, in their final regular season meet, looked to improve their performances heading into the postseason with a meet at The College of New Jersey.
In the women's 1500-meter race,
Courtney Humphreys finished second among division three runners with a time of 4:53.10.
Katie Baier also raced in the 1500, finishing in 6:11.27, a personal best. Humphreys and Baier also competed in the 400 with times of 1:02.40 and 1:11.83, respectively.
In the 100,
Aniyah Holmes led all Neumann runners with a time of 13.47 seconds.
Kozette Quinn was right behind with a personal best 13.54.
Neshaya Overton,
Kyleigh Joniec,
Quinaya Barker, and
Djeneba Konake were all bunched up with times of 15.14, 15.15, 15.31, and 15.55. In the 200-meter, Quinn had the Knights' top time of 27.76 seconds.
Sahdahya Addy grabbed a personal best with a finish in 29.24 seconds. Barker, Overton, and Konake had times of 31.66, 32.11, and 32. 93.
For the first time this season, Neumann had competitors in the 400-meter hurdles. Holmes finished in 1:16.19 and Joniec finished in 1:21.54. Addy was the lone Neumann competitor in the long jump and she had a leap of 5.09 meters.
On the men's side,
Wyatt Boyer had a solid showing in the 100 with a time of 11.60 seconds.
Isaiah Raye-Ryan also did well with a personal-nest 12.26 seconds. In the 200-meter race, Boyer had a personal best time of 23.23 seconds while
Nahshon Harrison-Fobbs also recorded his top time at 23.84.
Trey Edmonds followed with a time of 24.55.
Harrison-Fobbs, in the 400-meter, nabbed another personal best time with a finish in 53.13 seconds. Hall was the only Knight to enter the 400-meter hurdles as he finished in 1:06.47. Hall also competed in the long jump with a jump of 5.50 meters. Finally, the team of Boyer, Harrison-Fobbs, Edmonds, and Hall finished the 4x100 meter relay in 44.90 seconds.
Neumann will be back in action at the Atlantic East Conference Championships on Friday and Saturday, May 3
