ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Baseball team took down St. Mary's College of Maryland in a non-conference match-up on Tuesday afternoon by a final score of 17-7.

Neumann got the offense going early with a run on the first. With one out, Tyler Kilmer walked and stole second. Two batters later, Andrew Curran doubled down the left field line to drive in Kilmer for a 1-0 lead. The St. Mary's responded in the top of the second, tying the game with an RBI grounder.

Kilmer made it a three run game with a double down the right field line to score Shaub.

In the third, Curran and Josh Finger led off with back-to-back walks. B. Colon would get hit by a pitch to load the bases and Shaub took advantage, clearing the bases with a double to center. Later in the inning, Shaub stole third and score on a wild pitch for an 8-1 lead.
