WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Hockey team suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Wilkes University in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) game on Saturday afternoon.
Wilkes got on the board 2:29 into the game but Neumann held strong from there, keeping the Colonels at bay until the later stages of the third period. With 2:57 remaining in regulation, Wilkes doubled their lead and scored again 1:48 later to seal the game.

Chloe Ballew led the Knights offensively with two shots on goal each.
Cecelia Mick contributed defensively with a game-high six blocked shots.
Trish Dan added four blocks.
Sydney Babin made 40 saves in goal.
Neumann (4-9-2, 3-7-2 MAC) will be back in action on Thursday afternoon when they take on Hood College in their first ever meeting. Face-off in Frederick, Md. is scheduled for 12:45 PM.
