NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Neumann University women's hockey team dropped a 5-2 decision at Albertus Magnus College on Tuesday afternoon in the first game of 2025.
The Falcons scored two goals in the first period for a 2-0 lead after the first 20 minutes.
Charlotte Labre got the Knights on the board 3:18 into the second period on the power play.
Trish Dan drew the assist to make the score 2-1. Albertus Magnus found the back of the net at the 12:10 mark.
Lian Sydorowicz pulled Neumann back to within one, 3-2, with another power play goal.
Gia Santorello tallied the assist.
Midway through the third period, the Falcons went back up by two, 4-2. Albertus Magnus added an insurance goal with 2:06 left in regulation.
Noelle Woodard made 29 saves in net for the Knights
Neumann (2-7-2) will host Stevenson this weekend in a pair of conference games. The game on Friday is slated for 4:00 PM.
