COLMAR, Pa. – The Neuman University men's ice hockey team blanked Arcadia on Friday evening in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) action.
The Knights scored two power play goals in the game.
Christian Green made 32 saves for his second shutout in as many starts. Eighteen of his saves came in the first period, keeping the game scoreless.
Neumann got on the board with a power play goal 5:11 into the second period.
Max Donohoe scored off assists from
Jake Barkley and
Lucas Culhane. The Knights took the 1-0 lead into the third period.
At the 5:46 mark of the third period,
Zack Smith scored off an assist from Barkley. Smith scored his second goal of the game just over a minute later and on the man advantage. Donohoe and Barkley drew the assists on the insurance goal.
The Knights were 2-for-4 on the power play. Smith led the team with nine shots.
Neumann (3-2, 3-0 MAC) and Arcadia will meet again tomorrow afternoon. Puck drop is slated for 1:40 PM.
