In the second, it was Hood who would start to wrest back the momentum. They traded points all the way to a 12-11 Blazer lead. That trend continued with Neumann gaining the lead and Hood immediately responding to tie it up. It wasn't until 19-17 when Neumann finally took a two-point lead. The Blazers got within one at 22-21, but the Knights scored the last three points and Edmonds kills, to take the set 25-21.
The third set had a little less drama although Hood took an early 3-1 lead. The Knights went on an 8-2 run and didn't look back from there. A later 4-0 run made it a 15-9 lead for Neumann. They later took a nine point lead at 23-14 before Hood put a scare into the Knights with four straight points, before Neumann closed the match out.
Neumann (4-5) will be back in action on Thursday night when they host University of Valley Forge for a 7:00 PM start.
