BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team picked up a United East Conference win, defeating Bryn Athyn College 3-0 on Wednesday evening.
Trey Edmonds led the Knights with 15 kills and with just two errors, a .520 hitting percentage.
Noah Banaag handed out 24 assists.
Christian DeMarco tallied 13 digs, to add to his nation-leading digs/set.
The first set went back and took a few extra points. Tied at 26, kills by Edmonds and
Victor John gave Neumann a 28-26 set one win.
The Knights held on late in the second set and another kill by Edmonds gave Neumann the 25-22 set win to go up 2-0. Neumann kept the pressure on the third set and a kill by
Isaiah Thomas sealed the 25-19 set three and 3-0 match win.
Neumann (8-8, 2-1 United East) heads to Eastern on Friday evening for a non-conference match beginning at 7:00 PM.
