BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team defeated Notre Dame of Maryland University 18-2 on Tuesday afternoon.
Lindsey Fagan led the Knights with five goals.
Arianna Hutchinson netted four goals, the first four of her collegiate career.
Cionni Warrington added two goals and two assists.
Neve Murphy finished with two goals.
Alena Catka grabbed seven draw controls.
Abbey Fenton made five saves in net for the win.
Fagan got the scoring started just 10 seconds into the game.
Lian Sydorowicz netted the third goal of the game and the senior's first goal of the season. Within the first four minutes, the Knights held a 7-0 advantage and after the first quarter, Neumann had a 15-0 lead.
The Knights scored a goal in each of the final three quarters.
Morgan Keely capped the scoring with her first collegiate goal in the fourth quarter.
Neumann (4-3) hosts Wooster on Friday afternoon beginning at 3:00 PM.
