SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team dropped an 18-4 decision at Swarthmore College on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Lindsey Fagan scored two goals on free position shots. Krista Geibler and Alena Catka also scored for the Knights. Abbey Fenton made seven saves over three quarters in the start. Sarah Kiraly made one save in the fourth quarter.
 
Geibler opened the scoring for the afternoon just 50 seconds into the game. Fagan scored her first goal at the 8:15 mark of the first quarter. Fagan scored her second goal with 28 seconds left in the first to cap the scoring in the first quarter. The Garnet held a 5-3 lead after the first 10 minutes.
 
Over the second and third quarters, Swarthmore scored 13 goals. The Knights scored the last goal of the game as Catka found the back of the net with 46 seconds left on the clock. Fagan drew the assist.
 
Neumann (1-3) next heads south to face Webber International University in Florida. Action on Thursday gets underway at 1:00 PM.
