BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Tennis team put together a dominant afternoon as they defeated Bryn Athyn College on Thursday afternoon, 7-0.
The Knights took all three doubles matches as the first doubles team of
Alura Troilo and
Kayleigh DellaVecchio won, 6-2. Both the second doubles team of
Sha'xaria Gordon and
Casey McGee, and the third doubles team of
Juliet Schilling and
Molly McGee won their matches by 6-0 scores.
Troilo won her singles match 6-2, 6-2, Gordon won 6-3, 6-0, and DellaVecchio was perfect with two 6-0 wins. M. McGee, in fourth singles, won 6-0, 6-1, C. McGee won 6-0, 6-0, and Schilling won 6-2, 6-2, to complete the sweep.
Neumann (5-7, 1-1 Atlantic East) will return to action on Saturday when they host Marywood starting at 12:00 PM.
