Dimaline Named Academic All-MAC

NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their Academic All-MAC teams for hockey on Tuesday afternoon and Neumann University's Matt Dimaline was among the honorees.

Dimaline had a breakout first year season as a Knight scoring 15 goals and 22 assists for 37 points in 27 games. He turned out to be a clutch player with three game winning goals and a +20 rating. The Cambridge, Ontario native was the MAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year and the MAC Rookie of the Year, helping his squad to a MAC Conference tournament playoff spot.

The Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2025 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.
