ASTON, Pa. – Neumann University Director of Athletics and Recreation,
John Krimmel, along with Head Field Hockey Coach, Dana Ott, are proud to announce that
Sara Hussey and
Courtney Keith have been named assistant coaches for the 2025 season.
Hussey, a 2024 graduate of Cabrini University, starred as a defensive player in the Cavaliers' lineup. A 2022 Atlantic East All-Conference First team member, she played in 57 games throughout her career with 51 starts, logging almost 2,900 minutes. She was also a three-time Atlantic East All-Academic team member.
Keith also played collegiately at Cabrini University from 2021-23. In 58 games, she logged 3,300 minutes in goal with a career goals against average of 1.77 and a .718 save percentage. She had a 31-21 record with 10 shutouts. In her first year, Keith was named to the Atlantic East All-Conference Second team and was named the Most Valuable Player in the conference tournament championship game. In her junior year, she had a shutout in the ECAC championship game. Keith starred academically as well as she was a multi-time Atlantic East All-Academic pick and NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad member.
Coach Ott had this to say about gathering her staff, "We're thrilled to welcome

Sara Hussey to our field hockey staff! They bring a championship mindset, great energy, and a deep passion for the game that will inspire our team every day. As former collegiate players and young leaders, Courtney and Sara know what it takes to succeed at a high level and will be great role models for our student-athletes. Courtney's goalkeeping expertise will be a key part of our success, while Sara's strength and experience as a defender will add depth and intensity to our backfield"
The Field Hockey team opens the 2025 season on Friday, August 29
th against Alfred University in Houghton, N.Y. They'll return to the Turf Field on Saturday, September 6
th at 4:00 PM, hosting Drew University.
