NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their weekly awards on Tuesday morning, and Neumann University's
Max Donohoe was named the Men's Hockey Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in as many weeks.
Donohoe scored three goals and added two assists in a 2-0 MAC weekend for the Knights. The sophomore opened the scoring 5:58 into the first period as Neumann defeated Wilkes 6-2 on Friday. He added two assists before the end of the first period as the Knights held a 5-0 lead after the first 20 minutes of play. In the 3-2 come-from-behind win at Stevenson on Saturday, Donohoe scored toward the end of the second period to cut the Mustangs lead in half. He then scored the tying goal midway through the third period to set up the come-from-behind win.
Neumann (14-7-1, 13-4-1 MAC) will look to keep their four-game winning streak going as they visit Lebanon Valley College on Friday for a 7:00 PM puck drop.
