BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Neumann University Men's Basketball team upended the Atlantic East Conference rivals, the Pratt Institute on Wednesday night, taking a 70-52 win back to Aston.
 
Donte Dupriest led with a double-double, scoring 23 points and grabbing 14 rebounds, including five on the offensive glass. Bryan Etienne also had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, adding a team-high three steals. Jayson Love had19 points on 70% shooting from the field. He also went 5 for 7 from beyond the three-point line.
 
In the early going, Pratt held an 8-7 lead with 16:23 left in the first half. Two straight Love threes got a 13-point run going for Neumann over the next four minutes, giving them a 20-8 lead. After the Cannoneers went on a 9-5 run, the Knights scored 13 of the next 17 points for a 38-21 edge at the break.
 
Neumann extended the lead to 21 with 16:35 left in the second half, although Pratt was able to answer with an 8-2 run, keeping within shouting distance at 47-32. The Knights and Cannoneers traded equal runs for most of the rest of the game. The lead got as high as 22 for Neumann as they cruised to victory.
 
Neumann (14-8, 6-5 Atlantic East) will return to action on Saturday afternoon for Senior Day and a conference match-up against Gwynedd Mercy University. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM at the Mirenda Center with the Senior Day ceremony right before.
