The game was close throughout the evening as neither team had a lead larger than six points. The game also featured 11 lead changes and six ties. With 13:04 left in the first half, and the Knights carrying a 12-8 lead, Marymount went on an 11-5 run to take a 19-17 lead with 8:34 left.
