ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team opened Atlantic East Conference action on Saturday afternoon, falling to Pratt Institute 7-0.
 
The Cannoneers opened the match by winning all three doubles matches.
 
In singles action, Casey McGee fought hard at fifth singles, but fell 6-3, 6-3.

"It was a beautiful day for tennis," says senior captain Alura Troilo. "Everyone battled until the very last point. Looking forward to the week ahead. There is a lot more tennis to be played."
 
Neumann (2-2, 0-1 Atlantic East) had a rescheduled match with Bridgewater next Wednesday beginning at 12:00 PM.
