ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Bridgewater College on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.
In doubles action, first (
Alura Troilo and
Kayleigh DellaVecchio) and third (
Jane Gorman and
Lyndsie Crawford) double duos competed to 6-3 scores.
Molly McGee and
Casey McGee came up just short in second doubles, 7-5.
Troilo battled at first singles, but fell 6-4, 6-1. C. McGee dropped her first set 5-3, but tied the match with a 7-5 set two win. The sophomore fell 10-8 in the tie-breaker.
Neumann (2-3) is right back in action tomorrow afternoon when it hosts Rowan College of Gloucester County. The dual match with the men gets underway at 4:30 PM.
