Box Score SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Tennis team fell in an Atlantic East Conference match against Marywood University by a final score of 6-1.
In the doubles portion of the match, the first doubles team of
Alura Troilo and
Kayleigh DellaVecchio grabbed a 6-3 win, but Marywood won the other two matches to take the point. Troilo won her first singles match with a close 7-5 set and a dominant 6-0 set. In sixth singles,
Natalie Hackett fell in the first set, 6-1, but battled back for a 7-5 win in the second. The tiebreaker ended up going to the Pacers, 10-5.
Neumann (2-5, 0-2 Atlantic East) will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Marymount University for a 3:30 PM start.
