ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team battled to a 5-2 loss to Marymount University in Atlantic East Conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
In doubles action, the duo of
Molly McGee and
Casey McGee needed a tiebreaker in the second flight but fell 7-6 (7-3).
Alura Troilo and
Kayleigh DellaVecchio battled in a 6-4 loss in first singles.
Troilo tallied a 6-0, 6-1 win at first singles.
Jane Gorman fought to a 7-5 win in her first set at fifth singles and then took the match 6-2 for Neumann's second point. C. McGee dropped a close 7-5 set at fourth singles followed by 6-2.
Neumann (2-6, 0-3 Atlantic East) heads to Kean on April 7 for a non-conference match beginning at 3:30 PM.
