ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team competed against Kean University on a cold and windy Tuesday afternoon, falling 5-2.
 
First doubles duo of Alura Troilo and Kayleigh DellaVecchio won their match 6-0. The Cougars won the other two doubles matches take the doubles point.
 
Molly McGee won her match at second singles, 6-1, 6-4. Her sister, Casey McGee, easily handed her match at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-1. Troilo, DellaVecchio and Natalie Hackett all battled in tie-breakers in their matches but could not pull out a win. Lyndsie Crawford battled her way at fifth singles, falling by scores of 7-5 and 6-4.
 
Neumann (2-7) will host Eastern on Thursday as it celebrates senior day. Action is slated to get underway at 4:30 PM.
