LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team finished its season in the United East First Round, falling to Cairn University 3-0. Set scores were 25-21, 25-10 and 25-20.

Isaiah Thomas each had seven kills in the match.
Noah Banaag handed out 15 assists.
The first set had the teams going back and forth and going point-for-point for most of the set. Tied at 19, The Highlanders tallied three straight kills for a 22-19 edge. The Knights scored the next two points to pull within one. Cairn sealed the 25-21 set one win with the next three points.
Cairn jumped out to an early lead 7-0 lead to start set two. The Highlanders kept the pressure on and built a 17-3 advantage. The Knights were able to trade points before Cairn took the set 25-10.
The Knights scored the first point of set three and took an early 4-2 edge. With Neumann leading 6-5, Cairn scored six straight points to take an 11-6 advantage. The Highlanders then had another stretch of five consecutive points to lead 17-8. The Knights scored six points while Cairn tallied three to get back within five, 21-16. Neumann's comeback attempt ran out of time as the Highlanders were able to clinch the set 25-20 and the match 3-0.
