ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Flag Football dropped a 33-7 decision against Holy Family University on Tuesday night, in the Atlantic East Tournament Play-In round.
The game started slowly for Neumann as their first pass was intercepted. Holy Family responded with a touchdown at the 10:20 mark of the first quarter. They doubled their lead at the 11:13 mark of the second with a another touchdown coming with 29 seconds remaining in the half for a 21-0 lead.
Late in the third, the Tigers extended the lead to 27 with a touchdown pass from 17 yards out. The Knights' lone score came in the fourth when a
Kayla Maisch pass found
Tasia Gaskins in the end zone for a three yard touchdown. Maisch got a one-point conversion on a rush but that is as close as they could get.
Maisch finished with 113 yards of passing and gained 75 on the ground.
Marie Berry was the top receiver with 66 yards, all of one play. Defensively,
Sam Knight made nine tackles.

Neumann ends their season with a 9-8 record.
