Coach Matthew Kennedy [apos]01 took over the reins of the Knights women[apos]s ice hockey program in the Fall of 2003. In his first year as head coach, Kennedy complied a 12-11-1 record, which earned the Knights their first ECAC West playoff birth and a top twenty five ranking. Neumann finished their 2003-04 campaign 19th in the country overall, and 13th in the in total offensive production. In his second year at the helm, Kennedy extended his record to 22-18-2, leading the Knights once again, to the ECAC West Post Season Tournament. The Knights finished their 04-05 season 15th in Division III Women[apos]s National PairWise Rankings. His team also ranked 14th in winning percentage, and 9th in scoring offense against all ECAC Division III teams. A native of Skaneateles, NY, Coach Kennedy earned his bachelors degree in psychology at Neumann in 2001. He was a member of the Neumann Knights men[apos]s ice hockey program and team captain in the final two years of his collegiate career. Coach Kennedy remains committed to the Knights of Neumann College.
