Jalen Vaughns, of the men's basketball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

Vaughns, who was named to the Atlantic East honor roll, averaged 18 points and 9.5 rebounds as the Knights went 2-0 in conference action last week. The junior netted 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in 63-62 win over Marymount. He scored the game-tying basket and gave Neumann the one-point lead with a free throw with eight seconds left in regulation. In a 54-50 win over Gwynedd Mercy, Vaughns had eight points and six rebounds. He hit a free throw with 13 seconds remaining to give the Knights advantage in the eventual win.
