COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Neumann College softball team split a pair of games at Ursinus College Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference match-up.  The Knights won the first game, 3-1. The Bears took the second game 5-0.

Neumann scored its three runs in game one on three solo homeruns by Angela Sebasto, Kimberly Kirkpatrick and Jenn Goslin. Rachel Purpuro pitched 5.1 innings and allowed just one run in her first collegiate win. Sebasto went 1.2 innings for the save.

Ursinus held Neumann to just three hits in game two. The Bears scored a run in the third to open the scoring. They added two runs in the fourth and fifth for the 5-0 final. Brittany Campbell pitched 3.1 innings and struck out two in the loss.

Neumann faces the College of Notre Dame (Md.) on Friday in conference action. The Knights are the away team, but the games will be play on Neumann's campus. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
