ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team battled Widener University to a scoreless tie Saturday night in the rain.

Neither team could find the back of the net in 110 minutes as the rain fell on the new turf field. Bob Mastrillo made 10 saves in net for the Knights. Hamed Correa had three saves for the pride.

Widener poured it on in the overtime periods, but Mastrillo held strong and did not let in a ball. The post helped the Knights on a few balls as well.

Andy Attah led the Knights with six shots. Brian James notched eight shots for Widener.

Neumann, now 3-3-1 on the season, will host Richard Stockton on Monday afternoon. The game is slated to start at 4 p.m.
