ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 1 Rochester Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon in ECAC West action.

Dru Austin scored her first collegiate goal in the game. Stephanie Nakamura and Mariah Fairgrieve drew the assists. Shannon Donnelly made 40 saves in net.

The Tigers scored three of their six goals on the power play as RIT scored two goals in the first, one in the second and three in the third.

Austin put Neumann on the board with a power play goal at the 16:22 mark of the third period.

Neumann (4-4, 4-4 ECAC West) will host Manhattanville on Tuesday evening in non-conference play. The puck is set to drop at 7 p.m.
