Baseball Keeps Winning 12-2 at the Expense of US Coast Guard

Ft. Myers, Fla. – The Neumann University baseball team beat United States Coast Guard Academy 12-2 Friday afternoon in non-conference action.

The Neumann pitchers did a great job, as four pitchers split the responsibilities to only give up two runs. Patrick O'Leary started the game lasting three innings with two earned runs and two strikeouts. Russ Gilliam threw for two innings and got credited for the win. Frank Vitrano threw for three inning and threw strikeouts. While Jake Yarber finished the game off with one inning and one strikeout.  

Joey Armata was one of the stars of the game, as he went three for four and got an RBI. Tyler Drinkard contributed going two for four and had one RBI. Bill Pace went one for two and he had two RBI's.

The Knights finish their spring break trip playing a double header against University of Scranton March 10, slated for 12 p.m.
