ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell to Goucher College 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.

The second doubles duo of Gabrielle Porcelli and Teresa Kozin put up a fight, but fell 8-6. Heather Nicholson and Cherie Allen fell 8-4 in third doubles.

Nicholson put up the biggest challenge in singles action in the sixth slot. After falling 7-6 (7-4) in the first set, she came back and won the second set 7-6 (7-5). She then fell in the superset 10-5.

Neumann (3-4) will get back to conference action this weekend when it hosts Notre Dame on Friday before traveling to Gwynedd-Mercy on Saturday.
