Box Score ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Neumann University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-2 decision to Frostburg State University in its first match of the Dutchmen Quad at Lebanon Valley on Friday evening.
The Knights took the first two sets, 25-23, 25-22. The Bobcats took set three 25-11 and set four 25-20 to force a fifth set. Frostburg won the fifth set 15-10 to take the match 3-2.
Rachael Hoffman led the Knights with 13 kills and a .385 hitting percentage.
Melanie Malseed added 10 kills.
Carlee Herrin handed out 37 assists. Malseed,
Hayley Glah and
Bianca Harbold all tallied 18 digs. Kirsten Longueria added 17 and Herrin had 14.
Bridget Lozier notched five block solos.
Neumann (4-10) will be at it again tomorrow at the Dutchmen Quad. The Knights will face host Lebanon Valley at 11:00 AM, followed by Misericordia at 2:00 PM.
